CAREER COACHING
The Ultimate Career Coaching Program
There are hundreds of self-help courses, books and programs on the subject of career development on the market. Please don’t confuse The Ultimate Career Consultant program and the Gary Hines Consulting Group with any of them. This program provides a revolutionary method that’s proven to skyrocket your career and your earning ability.
It’s like having an “extreme makeover” for your career! But be forewarned: when you’ve finished working through the process, stand back — the results will be absolutely amazing. You’ll hardly recognize yourself as the same individual who started just a few weeks earlier!
The 5 Phases of the Career Coaching Process
Career analysis and evaluation – Preliminary exercises and formal career assessments, if needed. Gain clarity on current situation, career assets and consistent themes. Determine areas of greatest contribution and opportunities for development. Develop initial ideas for “what’s next.”
Exploration of career options and initial job choices – Define work preferences and explore “ideal outcomes.” Conduct research into practical/realistic career paths. Explore job market and possible positions. Compile list of target industries. Identify specific career/job objectives for the transition.
Planning and preparation for the transition – Develop complete “job seeker’s tool kit” (portfolio of self-marketing documents). Craft effective verbal statements and accomplishment samples. Compile databases of contacts, referrals, and target companies. Develop search correspondence and continuing communications. Set specific goals for job search.
Implementation of full search campaign – Conduct informational discussions and structured networking meetings. Interview training and debriefing to improve performance. Track and measure contacts and follow-ups. Pursue secondary search methods, including recruiters and Internet “job boards.” Leverage all self-marketing resources, including premium tools. Evaluate and critique opportunities/offers. Negotiate for best “job fit” and compensation package.
On-going career coaching (depending on program; and if time permits) – Accept best offer and assimilate into new position. Focus on “on-boarding,” while aligning with new company’s business priorities and culture. Establish professional credibility and develop productive relationships. Avoid “blind spots,” leverage assets, and plan steps to position yourself for promotion. Continue career consultation on an “as needed” basis.
